Best Ever Blueberry Pie Recipe

Ingredients

CRUST

  • 2 cups all-motive flour
  • 1/four teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup bloodless Land O Lakes® Butter, reduce into chunks
  • 4 to 5 tablespoons bloodless water

FILLING

  • 3/four cup sugar
  • half of cup all-motive flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon floor nutmeg
  • half teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • five cups clean blueberries

How to make

Heat oven to four hundred°F.

Combine 2 cups flour and salt in bowl; cut in butter with pastry blender or fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in enough water with fork just until flour is moistened.

Divide dough in 1/2. Shape each half into ball; flatten slightly. Wrap 1 dough ball in plastic food wrap; refrigerate. Roll out closing dough ball on lightly floured floor into 12-inch circle. Fold into quarters. Place dough into ungreased 9-inch pie pan; spread, pressing firmly towards backside and sides. Trim crust to half inch from fringe of pan.

Combine sugar, 1/2 cup flour, cinnamon and nutmeg in bowl; blend properly. Gently stir in blueberries. Spoon blueberry mixture into organized pie crust.

Roll out refrigerated dough ball on gently floured surface into 12-inch circle. Place dough over filling. Seal, trim and crimp or flute side. Cut eight-10 slits in crust. Cover fringe of crust with 2-inch strip of aluminum foil.

Bake 35 minutes; dispose of foil. Continue baking 10-20 minutes or till crust is lightly browned and juice starts offevolved to bubble via slits in crust.

Cool pie 30 minutes; serve warm. Store refrigerated.
