Pear Clafoutis Gluten-Free

Ingredients


  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 2 ripe pears peeled, cored, and thinly sliced

Instructions


  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, cream, cornstarch, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Pour the batter into a 10-inch cast iron skillet or shallow baking dish. Top with the pear slices in concentric circles. Bake for 30 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
