(WHOLE30, PALEO) SLOW COOKER FRENCH ONION CHICKEN

INGREDIENTS


  • 2 lbs chook
  • 2 lbs onions, sliced thinly
  • SAUCE:
  • 1 cup low-sodium broth (or home made bone broth)
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tsp ghee, melted
  • 1 tsp coconut aminos
  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • half of tsp salt

INSTRUCTIONS


  1. Add half of of the onions to the bottom of the slow cooker. Add fowl on top of onions. Add final onions on top.
  2. In a small bowl, blend together sauce ingredients.
  3. Pour sauce on top of chicken.
  4. Cook HIGH three-4 hours or LOW five-6.
